Since launching Cybernews in 2019, expanding into Wellnesspulse, and creating a financial insights platform Investorsobserver, we have grown to a team of 300 in-house experts and over 200 global contributors.
Data Team
Our data team brings together engineers, scientists, and analysts who play a key role in shaping the way we grow. We work across the company to support smart, data-driven decisions and lead high-impact, fast-scaling projects. We enjoy working with large volumes of data, building solid infrastructure, and creating solutions that push the business forward.
You
You’re a data engineer who knows how to build things that last — from reliable pipelines to scalable systems. You care about clean, maintainable code and believe automation is worth doing right. You’re comfortable in a fast-moving environment and like working with different teams to solve tough data problems. You bring ideas to the table and follow through on them.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Design and implement enterprise-level data architecture solutions
- Lead the development of complex data pipelines using Python and modern data tools
- Design and optimise Apache Airflow workflows for maximum efficiency
- Lead technical decision-making for data infrastructure and tooling
- Promote engineering best practices
- Drive improvements in data quality, reliability, and performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering
- Expert-level Python programming skills
- Advanced knowledge of data warehousing concepts and Snowflake
- Proven experience with large-scale data pipeline development
- Strong background in system design and architecture
- Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers
- Excellence in SQL optimization and database performance tuning
- Experience in AWS cloud infrastructure and services would be a plus

GROSS SALARY
- 4950 - 6280 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discuss a different salary based on your skills and competencies
