The Crown Is Yours
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will act as a creative contributor, leader, and mentor in our data engineering organization. You'll leverage your experience and expertise to build real-time data solutions to unlock insights into our products and support critical business KPI reporting. You'll collaborate with business partners to understand and incorporate complex domain knowledge into analytics data models to support our core products and immediately improve the user experience for our customers.
What you'll do as a Senior Data Engineer
- Build scalable, highly performant infrastructure for delivering clear business insights from various raw and historical data sources.
- Contribute to backend services written in C# in a microservices-based environment.
- Help build and support real-time data pipelines and streaming infrastructure using industry-standard messaging tools.
- Write clean, maintainable code using established design patterns and solid development practices.
- Support internal products by ensuring event accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery across systems.
- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and improvements to observability and monitoring.
- Develop batch and real-time analytical solutions, prototypes, and proofs of concept for selected solutions.
- Implement complex analytical projects with a focus on collecting, managing, analyzing, and visualizing data.
- Work in the agile workplace allowing you to be a team player and collaborate closely with other units in the company.
What you'll bring
- 3+ years of development experience in object-oriented programming using languages such as C#
- Proven hands-on experience working with Data Streaming
- Strong knowledge of OOP and REST design principles
- Background in the following tools and technologies: Kafka, Snowflake, Databricks, Terraform, PagerDuty, DataDog, Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket
- Expertise in Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Data Modeling, Data Streaming, and Schema Design
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud environments like AWS and GCP
- Understanding of ETL Solutions.
- Experience with NoSQL Databases (Mongo, DynamoDB etc.)
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
