About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Data Engineer...
In this role, you will:
Lead moderately complex initiatives within Technology and contribute to large scale data processing framework initiatives related to enterprise strategy deliverables
Build and maintain optimized and highly available data pipelines that facilitate deeper analysis and reporting
Review and analyze moderately complex business, operational or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Oversee the data integration work, including developing a data model, maintaining a data warehouse and analytics environment, and writing scripts for data integration and analysis
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead teams to meet data engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of data information policies, procedures and compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with colleagues and managers to resolve data engineering issues and achieve strategic goals
Lead discussions with business and other partners to understand the business intake request for Test Data generation
Understand data dependencies and data attributes for CSBB (Consumer and Small Business Banking) data needs
Source test data from across multiple systems using a variety of applications across CSBB
Provide support/generate and distribute generated data to support business testing cycles
Maintain reference data that supports the entire insights and reporting processes, with ease for teams to view data already available for testing
Develops MIS documentation to allow for smooth operations and easy system maintenance
Support automation by identifying automation opportunities on existing process and reports
Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and tools within the analytics group
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Data Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years experience generating test data (PDiLL (production data in lower environment) and Synthesized Test Data)
1+ year hands on experience working with relational databases
Desired Qualifications:
Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
Collaborate strongly with business teams to understand the business problems and provide technical solution
Good banking domain skills and depth knowledge in risk domain
Good understanding of data models, relationship among the data
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in source control using GitHub
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (CS/Math/Electronics/Electricals)
Should be able to take ownership and accountability
Should have good leadership skills to collaborate and add value to enterprise solutions
Agile/Scrum software development methodologies and process experience
Good end-to-end understanding of platform build and maintenance
Understanding GenAI use cases, identify and automate them in the project

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$84,000.00 - $164,400.00Benefits
