As a Senior Data Engineer at Capgemini, you will be working with a leading US Insurance Carrier, focusing on transforming raw data into insightful analytics. In this role, you will collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to design and implement data pipelines, ensuring that data flows are efficient, reliable, and ready for processing. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing complex data architectures that support business intelligence and analytics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design and implement scalable data models, data pipelines, and ETL processes to ensure seamless data integration.
- Monitor and optimize existing data processes and pipelines for improved performance and reliability.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust testing and validation processes.
- Leverage tools like AWS, Python, Snowflake, and DBT to build and optimize data solutions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data-related issues in collaboration with IT teams.
Work Experience:
- Minimum Required: 5 years
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred)
Key Skills:
- Expertise in cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Advanced SQL and Python programming skills
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience with ETL tools and frameworks, preferably DBT
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and tools
- Experience in working with large datasets in a cloud environment
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles
