Job Duties and Responsibilities
Senior Data Engineer sought by DISH Network, LLC in Denver, CO.
Work with internal teams and external partners to design, develop, and maintain tools and automation workflows to drive our highly lucrative and rewarding business. Perform complex data operations on large volumes of data at scale. Responsible for the introduction and adoption of new technologies. Lead the expansion of scalable data science products throughout the enterprise. Build scalable systems for automation of data integrity monitoring validation. Collaborate with multiple teams consisting of both technical and non-technical users of data.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Requires Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field plus 4 years of relevant experience as Data Engineer, Data Architecture, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science. Also requires 4 years of work experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):
- Agile methodologies and Cloud (AWS, Azure or Google).
- Python, SQL, and Spark.
- ETL stack in a cloud environment.
- Data modeling and design.
- Data Engineering, both structured and unstructured.
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $123,446.54/Year
