The Data Engineering team collects, organizes, and secures data from our software architecture, making it available to drive health insights for clients and partners, efficiency for care operations, and strategic decision-making for our product development and leadership teams.

Your role as a Senior Data Developer

We are seeking a product-oriented Senior Data Developer to help us deliver more value with our growing data assets. In this role, you will collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, other data engineers, product managers and software engineers to understand business requirements and translate them into robust data products. You will work within an agile framework, emphasizing rapid iteration and deployment while maintaining high standards of code quality and data integrity. Day to day, you will:

• Design and implement secure end-to-end data pipelines synchronizing data from multiple data sources, making the conformed and joined data easily accessible to other systems and stakeholders
• Develop and maintain our data warehouse modeling, optimizing it for utility, extensibility, and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver products that drive business value
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions to ensure high-quality, maintainable products

What you'll bring to the team:

• At least 3 years of meaningful experience in an engineering role, with a strong interest in all things data
• Demonstrated ability to build, operate, and maintain data replication and parallel processing systems
• Strong product mindset with the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into data products
• A passion for mentoring and developing other team members. You provide guidance and support to help team members enhance their skills, especially in the software engineering domain
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
