Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines, enabling effective data processing and transformation across the organization.
- Integrate data from diverse sources, including legacy systems such as SAP, ensuring seamless migration and transformation into modern data platforms.
- Develop, manage, and optimize large-scale data architectures, including Data Warehouses and Data Lakes, using both on-prem and cloud-based technologies.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that enhance decision-making through data insights.
- Implement and manage data solutions in cloud environments, with a focus on Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, SQL and NoSQL Databases, and other related cloud technologies.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all data solutions, adhering to best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Optimize ETL processes and ensure efficient handling of structured and unstructured data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business leaders, to deliver high-quality data solutions that drive business impact.
- Monitor data system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure operational continuity and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or similar roles.
- Strong experience with legacy data systems such as SAP and hands-on expertise in data migration strategies to modern platforms.
- Proven expertise in building and maintaining Data Warehouses, preferably with experience in hybrid data environments.
- Experience with cloud data solutions, particularly in Microsoft Azure environments.
- Proficient in SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT tools.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, and data security practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to optimize large-scale data architectures for performance and reliability.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional, distributed teams.
