Job Description
Job Overview:
Ø To work on development, monitoring and maintenance of Data pipelines across AE clusters.
Primary responsibilities:
· Be a key contributor to the Bosch hybrid cloud data platform (on-prem & cloud):
· Designing & building data pipelines on a global scale, ranging from small to huge datasets
· Design applications and data models based on deep business understanding and customer requirements
· Directly work with architects and technical leadership to design & implement applications and / or architectural components
· Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
· Identify, design, and implement architectural & application improvements: automating manual processes,
optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Additional information
Key Competencies-
- At least 7 years of experience in large scale Java or Scala software development (other object oriented languages are also acceptable)
• Deep level of understanding in distributed systems for data storage and processing (e.g. Kafka, Spark, Flink, HDFS, S3, Trino)
• Experience with RDBMS (e.g. Postgres)
• Excellent software engineering skills (i.e., data structures, algorithms, software design).
• Excellent problem-solving, investigative, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Github Actions
• Comfortable with Linux and scripting languages for workflow automation
