About you

You are a data engineer at heart, with strong software engineering foundations. You enjoy building scalable data platforms and take ownership of the reliability, performance, and quality of what you create.

You care about data – not just how it moves, but how it is protected, governed and trusted. You’re confident working across teams, and you use modern tools (including AI) to improve the speed and quality of your work.

Day-to-day, you will:
  • Design, build and maintain data pipelines and models that bring together data from across multiple products into one trusted platform
  • Own the performance, cost and reliability of your pipelines in production, ensuring they meet agreed service levels
  • Work closely with product teams to deliver clean, well-structured data that can be used for reporting, analytics and AI features
  • Protect and manage data responsibly, ensuring strong data quality, governance, and compliance with regulations such as GDPR
Your skills and experiences might also include:
  • Experience with Python and SQL, plus exposure to platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks or similar
  • Knowledge of cloud environments like Azure or AWS and data pipeline orchestration tools
  • Understanding of data security, including handling sensitive data (such as personal or payment information)
  • Familiarity with modern development practices such as CI/CD and using AI tools to improve development workflows
