Workday People Analytics is an AI fueled analytical platform for HR that helps to make better and faster people decisions. It delivers insights, highlighting areas of focus without lifting a finger. Workday People Analytics helps bridge that gap with pre-built analytics, giving you automated and targeted insights in easy-to-understand stories. It’s essentially your analyst in a box!
Among our differentiation in this space is our proprietary Storyteller technology which automatically surfaces the most relevant insights for your business in natural language, doing the heavy lifting for users by sifting through millions of combinations of data.

About the Role

 This Role is for any data enthusiast who loves to play with data and shape it based on user expectations. You will work closely with different development teams and product managers to create the best analytical content in People Analytics.

As Data Engineer you will: 

•  Design, build, maintain and promote reporting solutions based on the new business paradigm of People Analytics.

• Develop technical expertise in various Workday technologies, such as the core OMS graph or reporting and analytics framework and other data or BI related technologies 

• Quickly identify business risks, inefficiencies, issues and opportunities related to People Analytics product.

• Identify, analyse, and interpret trends on very large datasets, help transform them into an automated patterns search machine

• Maintain and support the product 

About You

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years with enterprise-level solutions and business intelligence implementations.

• Good knowledge of Python basics

• Ability to identify, analyse and resolve problems logically and systematically.

• Knows SQL or any other data-related language and built ETL pipelines in the past.

• Ability to execute well in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organisation.

• Good attitude to learn and accept challenges.

• Good organization and communication skills

Other Qualifications

• Experience with version control system (GitHub)

• Experience with industry standard BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Spotfire, Cognos, Good Data, SAP BW & Lumira, etc

• Plus points for familiarity with Workday OMS (BI), Report Writer, HCM & HR metrics
