How you will contribute
You will play a pivotal role in both developing innovative Data & Analytics products and enhancing existing solutions within our portfolio. Working collaboratively with other team members, you will play a key role in developing new, as well as maintaining existing, Data & Analytics products within our portfolio, taking full ownership of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) components.

Responsibility
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain GCP-based Data & Analytics backend solutions, ensuring end-to-end ownership and robustness of the projects.
- Collaborate extensively with internal and external teams, including architects, data ingestion specialists, scheduling teams, business analysts and frontend developers, providing leadership and project management for new GCP components implementations and enhancements to existing ones.
- Operate in a DevOps mode, leading the implementation of best practices in cloud development, deployment, and maintenance. Work closely with DevOps team to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes, ensuring efficient and error-free operations.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency, ensuring they meet the required standards and expectations.
- Guarantee that all cloud solutions adhere to security and compliance requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a learning and growth environment.
- Problems solving, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to existing products, ensuring their optimal functionality.
- Stay updated with the latest Mondelez standards and architecture guidance in cloud computing and GCP technologies.
- Provide quality assurance, participate in code and design reviews to ensure the delivery of high-quality software and solutions.
What you will bring
- Experience in cloud computing, specifically working as a developer with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery.
- Proficiency in GCP services, particularly BigQuery and Google Cloud Storage.
- Expertise in BigQuery query optimization and backend data preparation for integration with frontend tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience in data processing using Python scripting.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data ingestion related processes. Talend knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with SAP/HANA as a data source, and experience working with various other data sources is a plus.
- GCP certification is a plus.
Project Management:
- Proven ability to estimate, plan, and document projects, including the creation of High-Level Design and Technical Design documents.
- Proficiency in using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira.
- Proven ability to own and drive the project end-to-end.
- Cooperation with business stakeholders.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking capability.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Fluent English.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment with internal and external partners.
Education / Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
