Your responsibilities
Your daily responsibilities could be quite varied, but typically our Data Engineers (F/M/X):
- Design data models of analytical applications
- Understand, build and develop ETL and data integration solutions using a wide array of technologies and data sources
- Work with big data components and migration strategies
- Work with cloud-based infrastructure (Azure, AWS, and Google) for hosting data solutions and applications.
- Support the development of analysis and reporting solutions
Skills and experience
- We’re looking for people with good data engineering skills, and you’ll ideally bring with you:
- Proven role experience in developing ETL and data integration solutions
- Good knowledge of the Azure data engineering stack - Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Blob, Cosmos DB, Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric
- Capability in using Databricks and/or Spark
- Good experience in general programming – Python and SQL
- You’ll have experience working with data warehouse solutions, extracting and processing data in various ways using off-the-shelf tools and open-source tools. You’ll also be really familiar with working with version control systems (Git).
