What You’ll Do- Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from various sources into data lakes and data warehouses
- Use Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Synapse for orchestrating complex data workflows
- Write complex, optimized SQL queries and transformations to clean, aggregate, and structure data for business needs
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing data pipelines and SQL queries for maximum efficiency and cost-control in the cloud
- Work closely with Data Analysts, Power BI developers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver production-ready data assets
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering with a focus on cloud-based ETL/ELT development
- Strong production experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Synapse Analytics
- Advanced knowledge of SQL (writing complex queries, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning)
- Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schemas, dimensional modeling)
- Experience working with different data formats (Parquet, JSON, CSV)
- Availability to work during U.S. business hours
- Experience with Databricks or PySpark
- Familiarity with Version Control tools (Git, Azure DevOps)
- Understanding of how data feeds into visualization tools like Power BI
- Azure certifications (e.g., DP-203: Azure Data Engineer Associate)
