The Emerging Propositions Data Engineering team is responsible for enabling and evolving product offerings in Beauty, Designer and Pre-owned categories. We solve customer problems related to unique customer experiences and assortment properties like high number of makeup shades, distinct presentation of luxury brands or dedicated data models for pre-owned articles.
As a Senior Data Engineer you will design, develop and operate the data infrastructure, datasets and data products. The technical scope covers large-scale batch processing, data warehouses, ETL, data analysis and data observability.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

You have over 5 years of experience in large-scale data engineering using open source technologies

You demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management skills

You love to learn and you use all opportunities to expand your technical expertise

You have a good understanding of modern data engineering practices, including data modeling, data architecture, pipeline as a code, data observability

You have a solid experience with large-scale batch processing technologies (Airflow, Databricks, Presto/Trino, Spark, AWS data services)

You are proficient in SQL, including query optimisation and performance tuning

You bring experience in designing, implementing, and deploying data processing pipelines in a production environment using Python. Experience in other programming languages like Scala or Java is a plus
