We are seeking an experienced BI Developer / Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that support enterprise analytics and reporting needs. This role combines strong expertise in ETL development, SQL databases, and Microsoft Fabric, with experience in modern Azure-based data platforms and DevOps practices.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in international, cross-functional teams, understands data architecture best practices, and can contribute across the full data lifecycle — from ingestion and transformation to semantic modeling and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data platform tools
Build and optimize data models within Microsoft Fabric and related Azure services
Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance-tuned database solutions
Create and maintain semantic models and business logic using DAX
Develop data processing and automation solutions using Python (preferred)
Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data consumers to translate requirements into technical solutions
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data solutions
Apply DevOps best practices to ensure code quality, version control, testing, and deployment automation
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and reporting performance
Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are met
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to data strategy initiatives
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and/or Data Engineering roles
Strong hands-on experience with:
SQL databases (query optimization, indexing, performance tuning)
ETL/ELT processes and data transformation frameworks
Microsoft Fabric or comparable modern data platform environments
DAX for data modeling and reporting logic
Building Power BI reports
Experience working with Azure data services
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar DevOps tools
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (star schema, dimensional modeling, data lakes)
Experience working in international and cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Python for data processing, scripting, or automation
Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks
Experience with large-scale, cloud-based data platforms
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
