Revenue Operations Analyst, Senior

Your Impact
We’re looking for a Senior Analyst to join PTC’s Revenue Operations Reporting & Analytics team! This team drives impact in many key areas of the business and has a high degree of visibility, making it a great place to grow and be challenged. In this role, you’ll focus on creating scaled data insights for PTC’s Sales and Revenue Operations organizations, supporting the management operating rhythms of our sales function leaders worldwide and driving meaningful change at all levels. Working cross functionally with sales, sales operations, IT, finance, and other analytics teams necessitates a balance of business acumen and analytics capabilities to bridge the gap between data and informed actions.
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in generating reports and analyzing customer-related data. This role requires an understanding of a SaaS and subscription business and related KPIs. A passion in analytics and a customer first mindset while having the ability to tell a story using data is key. Experience supporting any revenue organization (sales, marketing, customer success, etc.), FP&A. strategy, or prior consulting experience is a plus.
What you’ll do:
- Provide timely insights and analytics support to internal stakeholders to make data-driven decisions
- Innovate and develop new KPIs or analyses that drive a better understanding of business performance and determine the best ways to automate delivery, ranging from dashboards to integration into business applications
- Create and compile materials for executive facing presentations, quarterly business reviews, and other product and customer deep dives
- Partner with Sales Operations to build and scale analyses relating to sales territory performance / optimization, pipeline risk identification and opportunity management, and more
- Create reports or analyses to directly support PTC’s annual operational planning process
- Model PTC’s worldwide sales pipeline targets by analyzing performance data, building models, and incorporating key business input
- Collaborate with development teams to manage enterprise pipeline reporting applications in Qlik Sense, functioning as the liaison between technical development, business users, and leadership
- Partner with other analytics teams, operations, data governance, and finance to ensure that the appropriate data points and sources are systematically available to enable deeper understanding of PTC’s customers
What we seek:
- Highly self-motivated, proactive contributor who thrives in an environment that embraces cross functional collaboration and eliminating information silos
- 2-5 years working in an analytics role, preferably in a revenue organization (sales, marketing, etc.), strategy, or consulting
- Education – Bachelor’s degree in a business or a STEM field, coursework or certificates in analytics are a plus
- Strong business acumen and the ability to think about the business holistically
- Strong understanding of SaaS Metrics like ARR, Churn, Net/Gross Retention, etc.
- Enthusiasm for problem-solving and exploring insights from large datasets
- Technical aptitude to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies
- Strength in MS Excel is a must
- Strength in MS Power BI is highly preferred, while at least one of the following is a plus - SQL, Python, R, Knime, Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik Sense, or other visualization tools
- Ability to understand complex systems and dependencies
- Very proactive and strong communication skills
