Job Description:
Experience and Knowledge :
5-7 years of experience in D365 F&O data migration.
Proven experience of leading the design and delivery of data migration projects. This should include the data cleansing, ETL process, reconciliation, and final client acceptance.
Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&O Functional knowledge and Data Management Framework.
Good in 'data migration' or master data management and not just technology or software implementations.
Ability to lead a team will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Lead Data Migration on delivering the data migration framework and strategy for the new internal data migration team
Work closely with senior functional consultants and local business global process owners
Work with legacy application and database technical subject matter experts to analyze and assess the quality and readiness of legacy data to be migrated. Identify data cleansing and data enrichment needs
Run data mapping workshops, to gather detailed data migration requirements
Work with subject matter experts and project team to identify, define, collate, document, and communicate the data migration requirements
Adopting and promoting an environment to achieve delivery excellence as well as providing best practice support and guidance
Oversee and ensure SI Data Migration Technical Analysts have adequate support
Ensure data migration deliverables are produced on time and are of sufficient quality to aid data migration sign off
Collaboratively work with Project managers to feed into the overall project plan
Understand the target system to ensure migrated data meets requirements for reporting and processing, once system is live
Provide regular status updates to Global Data Lead and program team.
Run data validation workshops and assist key users with validation
Act as a point of escalation for issues associated with data during the design, build and test phases, as well as cutover and hyper care.
Raise data migration defects, assign to technical data analysts & track to completion
