Who You Are

We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join ShopMy’s growing data team. This role is focused on owning and improving the foundation of our data — ensuring that what we track, store, and analyze is complete, reliable, and easy to use.

You don’t just analyze data — you make it better, more reliable, and more useful for everyone else. You know how to dig into data systems, identify gaps, inconsistencies, and inefficiencies, and take action to fix them. You know how to identify what drives value and how to unlock it through better data, systems, and analysis. You’re highly technical, detail-oriented, and resourceful, with a strong instinct for prioritization and problem solving in unstructured environments.

You’re comfortable working across a modern data stack (SQL, pipelines, BI, scripting), and you take pride in building systems that others can trust and depend on. Over time, this role will expand into deeper partnership with Product and Engineering, helping ensure new features and products are data-enabled, measurable, and performing at their best.

What You’ll Do
  • Own and continuously elevate ShopMy’s data foundation, ensuring data is reliable, scalable, and easy to use
  • Design, build, and maintain data models and pipelines in Snowflake
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and validation systems to proactively identify data and product issues
  • Audit and improve data quality across sources, tracking, and transformations
  • Improve data usability and accessibility across the business and support BI on a strong foundation
  • Conduct analyses to identify and quantify opportunities to improve product performance and drive business impact
  • Partner with Product and Engineering on tracking strategy, feature development, and product performance
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in Data & Analytics with relevant industry experience (E-commerce, SaaS, Agencies, Social, or similar)
  • Expert SQL skills with experience working with large, complex datasets, building pipelines, and operating within modern data warehouses
  • Strong experience with business intelligence tools, data modeling, and data visualization
  • Experience with experimentation and measurement (A/B testing, incrementality, attribution)
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python or similar) for analysis and automation
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a highly resourceful, self-directed working style
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity, prioritizing effectively, and collaborating with technical stakeholders
  • Experience with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Heap, Mixpanel, or similar)
  • Experience using AI tools to enhance analysis, automate repetitive work, or proactively surface insights is a strong plus
  • Motivated to take ownership as an early member of a growing data team

The work in this role directly shapes how ShopMy builds products, makes decisions, and scales — this is foundational, high-leverage work.

In compliance with New York Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is as shown. We note that salary information as a general guideline only, actual compensation may vary from posting based on the offer for this role, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, relevant work experience, key skills, education, training and business considerations. 

New York Pay Range
$115,000$155,000 USD

The provided salary range is base salary, exclusive of bonus potential or commission and is a good faith estimate of cash compensation. ShopMy is flexible pending candidate's experience and how our business needs evolve throughout the search. Every employee of ShopMy receives equity on top of cash compensation!

Skills Required
