The Role

Do you want to see your analytical contributions translate into concrete results for the organization? Join our Analysis and Business Solutions team and play a key role in improving organizational performance across distribution, underwriting and claims by helping optimize our processes and implementing new system and platform in P&C insurance. As a senior P&C insurance data valorization advisor, you’ll act as a trusted expert in advanced data analytics. Our team leads projects that include validating information in the new data warehouse, developing and maintaining dashboards to monitor performance for different LOB, etc. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Understand business needs from internal or external partners and fulfill requests in analytical approaches.

  • Streamline internal processes in data query, output, and validation. 

  • Conduct rigorous assessments of operational issues, propose best strategy, and roll them out in collaboration with partners.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations.

  • Work and exchange insights with external consultants on various ongoing projects in a professional manner.

  • Collaborate with team member to achieve the departmental objectives, and Support  junior members in their technical and professional development.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience, with more than three years in Property and Casualty Insurance or brokerage

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Advanced experience with presenting reports to various stakeholders

  • Experience with Guidewire and Snowflake

  • Advanced proficiency in a programming language such as SQL, SAS, Python, R

  • Advanced proficiency in data manipulation, visualization and interpretation techniques

  • Knowledge of Power BI or other visualization software
