As part of our strategic expansion and increased capacity at our India site, we are establishing a new team and are currently seeking an R&D Data Analyst & Modelling specialist to take on a pivotal role—combining technical expertise with advanced analytics responsibilities.
The R&D Data Analyst & Modelling is responsible for developing advanced statistical modelling using state-of-the-art tools, such as machine learning and AI, to support strategic business and technical decisions on product design, quality, and regulatory compliance.
If you are passionate about working with complex systems and bring experience in data-driven modelling and decision making, this is a unique opportunity to shape the company data strategy for current and next-generation products and solutions.
This position reports to the R&D Director and is part of the Bangalore Development Center located in Bangalore, India. The role is designated as full-time, on-site.
In this impactful role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Data Analysis & Insights: Collect, clean, and analyze data to uncover trends and opportunities.
- AI & Smart Tools: Leverage artificial intelligence and advanced analytics platforms to enhance data processing and reporting.
- Visualization: Create compelling dashboards and reports that make complex data easy to understand.
- Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, service team, product team, regulatory team and operation.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Biostatistics or related fields.
- 5+ years of job experience in the application of data analysis and big data tools
- Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and experience with AI/ML frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative mindset.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
- Ability to travel:
- ~ 2 months/year to the head quarter in Copenhagen
- To the Radiometer site IDC in south of Bangalore (1-2 times/month)
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- predictive analytics and automation tools with an R&D environment
- Experience in R&D is preferable
