Job Description: As a Senior Data Analyst at Zocks, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards that provide key business insights to internal and external stakeholders. You will play a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable information, supporting decision-making processes across the company.
Key challenges you will work on every day:
- Design and develop dynamic, user-friendly dashboards using business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Assist management by conducting comprehensive analysis of data.
- Write SQL queries to transform and extract data from AWS database.
- Visualize data to create informative dashboards.
- Conduct complex data analysis techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven insights.
- Collect, clean, and prepare data from various sources for dashboard creation.
- Create automated reports and dashboards that monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across different departments (marketing, sales, operations, etc.).
- Provide ongoing support for dashboard users and ensure dashboards are up-to-date with the latest data.
- Analyze data trends and provide insights to drive strategic business decisions.
- Continuously improve the design and functionality of dashboards based on feedback from users.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency in all visualizations and reports.
- Assist in data extraction, manipulation, and aggregation to support ad-hoc analytical needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data wrangling and manipulation, writing queries.
- Experience with B2B IT product company.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and creating data pipelines.
- Experience with Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts) is a must.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and B2B clients.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong English and Hungarian communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning models for predictive analytics.
- Experience with data integration tools and ETL processes.
