We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to transform laboratory and operational data into actionable insights that enhance performance across Unilabs’ pathology operations. In this role, you will develop reporting solutions, deliver advanced analyses, and support data-driven decision-making across multiple countries.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, implement, and maintain high-quality Power BI dashboards and reports to support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine reporting requirements and translate them into effective analytical solutions.
  • Partner with data engineers and IT teams to ensure accurate data extraction, transformation, and integration from laboratory and operational systems.
  • Conduct complex data analyses using SQL and Excel to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data across all reporting platforms.
  • Drive automation and standardisation of performance reporting processes across countries and functions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in data quality and reporting efficiency.
  • Support laboratory and operational leaders with KPI monitoring and analysis.
  • Prepare and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders across Europe.
  • Provide coverage for the Head of Data & Analytics when required.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
  • Proven track record with Power BI and SQL in analytical and reporting contexts.
  • Experience with operational or laboratory data in healthcare or life sciences is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience working in international and multifunctional environments is desirable.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI (data modelling, DAX, report development, publishing).
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Excellent Excel capabilities for analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data visualisation best practices.

  • Strong analytical, statistical, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams (IT, Data Engineering, Operations).

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
