An experienced Senior Data Analyst with expertise in SQL Server, Tableau, Power BI (and Adabas? / webmethods?). The ideal candidate will work with Credit Guarantee stakeholders to provide appropriate information to support business decision-making. A solid understanding of Management Information and reporting techniques is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

As part of the Systems MI team work toward improving and maintaining the management information and reporting requirements of CGIC. Provide analysis and insights which add value to business decision-making. Establish data repositories and data structures necessary to achieve the analysis and reporting. Knowledge of AI data concepts would be beneficial.

Data Management:

• Obtain data from various sources including Saas systems and APIs.

• Design and manage databases and their collection systems.

• Ensure data quality is fit for analysis purposes.

Data Analysis and Interpretation:

• Use statistical tools and techniques to explore and analyse data, identifying patterns, relationships, and trends.

• Interpret the results to draw meaningful conclusions and uncover insights that can inform business decisions.

• Develop and maintain data models and infrastructure.

Communication and Reporting:

• Provide feedback to stakeholders including reports, dashboards, and presentations.

• Apply data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI to present complex data in a clear and understandable format.

• Collaborate with business and systems teams to ensure that data-driven insights are effectively integrated into business processes.

Problem Solving and Decision Making:

• Assist to identify problems, understand the root causes, and develop data-driven solutions.

• Identify opportunities for better understanding and improvement.

• Work closely with business leaders and other stakeholders to ensure that data insights are applied effectively toward business intent.

General Role

• Design, implement and maintain data repositories required for management information including the new systems being developed to meet CGIC MI requirements.

• Participate with cross functional teams following Agile principles in systems delivery.

• Support database operational requirements with appropriate housekeeping (backups, recovery and troubleshooting) Ensure data integrity across the MI reporting systems.

• Manage and optimise performance for the MI data repositories. Document the databases and maintain data dictionary for reference purposes.

Education

• Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• A strong foundation in statistics, mathematics, and data analysis techniques is essential.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in data analytical practices using Tableau / Power BI with SQL Server and Adabas.

• Natural programming skills being advantageous.
