Title: Senior Data Analyst - Healthcare/Emerging Industries
Job Responsibilities:
- Create customer-facing dashboards to deliver business insights specific to each customer’s requirements;
- Develop custom ad-hoc reports sent to customers on a scheduled cadence, determine reporting content and decide on best delivery channel for ease of access based on customer request;
- Provide training to customers on how to navigate the reporting packages, which metrics they should pay attention to, and explain how metrics are defined and calculated;
- Build, review, and audit data systems and data storage to ensure compliance with SOC2, HIPAA, and other relevant standards;
- Build and maintain pipelines to transform production data into reporting data through data extracting and cleansing using Python and SQL;
- Build and maintain relationships with client data and business teams, including managing proactive data reviews to understand client reporting needs and develop key performance indicators and reports that allow clients to measure success of products; and
- Conduct research, build industry relationships, and attend relevant seminars/sessions/conferences to build understanding of latest trends and developments in analytics and AI for relevant industries to ensure data products are relevant and impactful.
Job Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Medical Science or a related field, plus four (4) years of experience in any occupation which includes the required experience and skills. In lieu of a U.S. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Medical Science or related field, employer will accept a three (3) year foreign Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Medical Science or in a related field.
Experience must include:
- 4 years of experience utilizing SQL to maintain data pipelines, create data repositories, and create ad-hoc reports;
- 4 years of experience utilizing ETL tools, such as FiveTran or DBT, to build and maintain data pipelines;
- 4 years of experience utilizing data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Mode, or PowerBI, to build reports and dashboards for use by internal users and customers;
- 4 years of experience using data warehousing tools, such as PostgreSQL or Redshift; and
- 2 years of experience utilizing Python to create ad-hoc data-based queries and reports.
Job Location:
Company's HQ located in New York, NY. This is a Hybrid role, with in-office attendance required 4 days/week.
Job Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $141,170 - $210,000 per year.
