Your impact 

Correlation One seeks an experienced and strategic Senior Data Analyst with deep data analytics expertise and business acumen to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging data to drive decision-making, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights to enterprise and government clients. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will lead complex data analysis efforts, mentor junior analysts, and play a key role in shaping and communicating our data strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that insights are communicated effectively to critical stakeholders, including C-suite executives. This role will also involve partnering with engineering teams and managing relationships with large global and governmental agencies. 

This role reports to the Sr. Manager of Engineering & Data Analytics.

A day in the life 

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to translate complex business requirements into comprehensive data analysis projects.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior data analysts, teaching best practices in data analysis and reporting
  • Write and execute advanced SQL queries from diverse data sources for in-depth analyses.
  • Proactively uncover trends, stories, and insights that will inform business strategy and drive decision-making at the highest levels.
  • Use insights to craft and deliver strategic recommendations aimed at improving business operations, growing programs, and enhancing external partnerships.
  • Develop and maintain advanced analytical reports, dashboards, and visualizations, ensuring data accuracy and clarity for all stakeholders.
  • Present data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, clients, and external partners in a compelling and accessible format.
  • Lead the operationalization and automation of data analysis processes, ensuring scalability and efficiency in delivering insights.
  • Perform advanced ad-hoc analyses, identifying opportunities for business improvement and growth.
  • Provide expertise in data governance and ensure data quality and integrity across all projects.

Your expertise 

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or Data Science roles, with a focus on delivering insights that drive business outcomes.
  • Advanced expertise in SQL and relational databases.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or similar platforms.
  • Extensive experience with data manipulation and visualization in Python.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud-based data environments (GCP preferred) and understanding of OLAP/OLTP systems.
  • Proven experience communicating complex data insights and strategic recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior team members and guide analysis efforts across the organization.
  • Ability to drive strategy and influence business decisions through actionable insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and resourceful approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects independently.
  • Passion for learning new technologies and continuously improving data analysis methodologies

Where you are

  • This role is remote for candidates based in Latin America. Working hours must be compatible with EST time zone.
