Role: Senior Data Analyst
Location: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune
We are looking for a Data Analyst with strong ERP and Order-to-Cash (O2C) domain experience to analyze business and operational data, identify trends and process gaps, and provide actionable insights to improve O2C performance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with ERP systems, O2C processes, data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze data across the Order-to-Cash (O2C) lifecycle, including order management, order fulfillment, invoicing, billing, accounts receivable, collections, and cash application.
- Extract, transform, validate, and analyze data from ERP systems and other business applications.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor O2C performance.
- Identify process bottlenecks, data quality issues, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Work closely with Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Analyze key O2C metrics such as Order Cycle Time, DSO, invoice accuracy, billing cycle time, overdue receivables, dispute rate, collection efficiency, and cash application.
- Perform root-cause analysis and provide data-driven recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
- Build and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Develop automated reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
- Perform data reconciliation between ERP and downstream systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Support ERP enhancements, system implementations, integrations, and process transformation initiatives from a data and analytics perspective.
- Create functional and technical documentation for reports, dashboards, data sources, and analytical processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, reporting requirements, and data models.
- Monitor data quality and establish controls to ensure accuracy and completeness of O2C reporting.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Data Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
- Hands-on experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in data extraction, joins, aggregations, CTEs, and query optimization.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
- Strong knowledge of Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, and data analysis.
- Experience with data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and transformation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into data and reporting solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Skills Required
