Senior Data Analyst (Oracle, SQL, PLSQL, Unix)
Job brief
We are looking for a Data Analyst / Developer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications. You will be responsible for application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.
Technical Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or a related subject
- Hands on experience in designing and developing applications in Data Engineering.
- Must have 6+ yrs. of experience in Oracle, SQL, PLSQL, Snowflake, Python.
- Must have 3+ yrs. experience in Unix, Unix shell Scripting
- Experience in ETL tools like Informatica, DMX and Data analysis
- Must have hands on Data Warehousing
- Experience in Hadoop, Sqoop, Hive will be added advantage.
- Good to have experience in AWS cloud stack with experience in Aws S3 Athena preferred.
- Must understand any scheduling tools like, Autosys, Control-M, Tivoli etc
- Should be able to handle client independently, take up requirements and suggest solution whenever required.

- Must have good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Clearly demonstrated passion for programming
- Focused and hardworking individual
- Willingness to put in extra effort as and when required

Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Unit-test code, usability, reliability and performance testing of code/app.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines
- Prepare and produce releases of software components.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
