Our team operates at the intersection of product, engineering, and applied AI, with a strong emphasis on data-informed decision-making.

The Role

We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to lead product analytics at OpenArt. This role goes beyond reporting and dashboard maintenance. You will act as a strategic partner to Product and Engineering, owning how we measure user behavior, retention, and growth, and translating data into decisions that shape the product roadmap.

Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure features are correctly instrumented prior to launch

Analyze funnels, retention, cohorts, and engagement to identify friction points and key activation moments

Design and evaluate A/B experiments, including defining success metrics and post-launch analysis

Build and maintain high-impact dashboards that surface North Star metrics and leading indicators of growth

Conduct deep-dive analyses to understand user behavior, personas, and monetization dynamics

Communicate insights clearly and concisely, translating data into actionable recommendations

Establish and promote a strong data culture across the product organization

Requirements

Core Qualifications

3+ years of experience in product analytics, data analysis, or a related role in a consumer-facing product environment

Strong hands-on experience with Amplitude or similar product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel)

Proven ability to design and maintain tracking plans and event taxonomies from the ground up

Deep understanding of funnels, retention, cohorts, LTV, and growth metrics

Experience partnering with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap and prioritization decisions

Comfort designing, analyzing, and interpreting A/B tests and feature experiments

Strong analytical storytelling skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear insights

High ownership mindset and comfort operating in ambiguous problem spaces

Nice to Have

Experience with AI-driven products, creator tools, marketplaces, or subscription-based consumer products

Prior experience in a fast-growing startup or small, high-impact team

Compensation

Approximately $180k–$250k total compensation, including base salary, bonus, and equity (flexible for exceptional candidates)

Meaningful equity ownership

High-autonomy, high-growth environment

Work Location

North America

Bay Area preferred (hybrid supported)

Visa sponsorship available

If you enjoy owning product analytics end-to-end and want your work to directly shape how millions of users experience AI-powered products, we’d be happy to connect.
