Purpose of Role/Summary:
The purpose of this role is to empower data-driven decision-making across the organization by developing and maintaining insightful, reliable, and user-friendly dashboards and reports in Power BI. Acting as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, the role translates complex data into actionable insights and fosters a culture of data literacy.
By championing data governance, collaborating on data quality initiatives, and delivering analytical solutions aligned with strategic objectives, this position plays a key role in optimizing performance, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring data integrity across the organization.

This position is open to applicants in Limassol, Cyprus or Amman, Jordan.

Main Activities & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring consistency, scalability, and usability
• Translate complex datasets into intuitive visual insights that drive informed business decisions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, gather requirements, and align reporting with strategic priorities
• Identify and communicate key trends, patterns, and anomalies in data, with actionable recommendations
• Promote data literacy through training, workshops, and documentation that empower self-service analytics
• Lead the creation and maintenance of a centralized business data catalogue, ensuring consistent definitions and metrics
• Partner with data engineers to ensure data availability, quality, and performance in analytical systems
• Translate business questions into measurable analytical solutions that support strategic initiatives
• Support data governance and compliance, maintaining accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports
• Perform any other duties relevant to the role

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Analytics
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst
• Proven expertise in Power BI (or a comparable BI platform), including DAX, data modelling, and dashboard optimization
• Strong grasp of data visualization and storytelling principles
• Proficient in SQL for querying and transforming data
• Demonstrated ability to drive self-service analytics adoption through training and and creation of reusable reporting templates and data models.
• Proven success in building a data-driven culture and training non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in the Forex or financial services industry is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management capabilities.
