The Role:

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of data analysis projects for the RevolutionParts data platform, including designing, developing, and implementing complex analytical models to extract actionable insights from large datasets. You will be working independently and collaborating with various business leaders to support key business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ecommerce data - i.e. Sales, Marketing, Payments, Fulfillment - with proven record of building data models that enable RP customers to make meaningful business decisions to achieve their stated objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of data analysis projects from requirements gathering to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Design, develop, and implement complex analytical models and algorithms to extract actionable insights from large datasets
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior data analysts, fostering their professional growth and development
  • Work closely with data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define data strategy, identify new data sources, and improve data quality
  • Create and manage interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Looker) to monitor key performance indicators and support data-driven decision-making
  • Implement and monitor data governance/validation processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data used for analysis and reporting
  • Write efficient SQL queries and optimize data retrieval processes to improve the performance of analytical workflows

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience working on eCommerce-related data platforms
  • MUST have DBT (Data Build Tool) & Medallion Architecture experience
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel, etc.).Hands-on experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar visualization tools
  • Experience working with large datasets, data cleaning, data manipulation, and data build tool
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets
  • Ability to translate data into clear, concise reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills and experience managing stakeholder relationships
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to quickly understand and analyze issues, provide creative solutions, and make timely decisions
  • A can-do attitude and a willingness to take on and own new projects

Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $90,000 – $125,000 per year.
