JOB TITLE: Senior Data Analyst
LOCATION: 9700 Health Care Rd, Minnetonka, MN 55343 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)
DUTIES: Work closely with business units, business leadership, and technology leadership in understanding the functional and technical design for processes identified for application and platform development; Design, Develop and manage Public Cloud Resources; Collaborate on Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases through Sprints; Develop standards and best practices while keeping up to date with industry standards and technology changes to help build robust systems that accommodate industry requirements and business needs; Provide architectural input over solution designs to ensure consistency and continuity across the company's IT infrastructure and delivery team; Reuse or develop for reuse complex components or capabilities to solve complex problems and needs; Design reusable components, frameworks and libraries; Ensure quality of coded components by using best practices; Comply with and helps enforce design and coding standards, policies and procedures; Communicate any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager and provide inputs to the change control process; Enhance system design/architecture to simplify and improve resiliency in system interactions and dependencies; Support the Operational Teams during the UAT and rollout phases; Troubleshoot issues related to containerization and orchestration; Assist in API development and front-end development; and Train and mentor other developers within the team on development and delivery disciplines. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 3 years experience in the position offered or a computer-related occupation. Position requires 3 years experience in each of the following:
- Agile development practices and DevOps;
- Github Actions, Jenkins or Azure Dev Ops;
- Database design, implementation, optimization;
- Azure services and solutions, including Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and Platform as a service (PaaS);
- Object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns;
- Azure Technical Implementation (Web Apps, SQL DB, ADF, Storage);
- Snowflake ETL Pipelines, Scripts, and Reporting;
- Source Control using GITHUB;
- Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) concepts and SDLC processes; and
- AirFlow DAGs, Monitoring, and Scheduling.
RATE OF PAY: $126,841.00-$177,408.00/ per year
