Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with over 7 years of experience in the field. This role involves ensuring the security of our digital assets and infrastructure, developing and implementing security strategies, and staying ahead of emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analysis.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, providing expert analysis and recommendations for resolution.
• Ensure the protection of sensitive data and critical systems against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security compliance and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
• Lead and mentor junior cybersecurity staff, fostering a culture of security awareness within the organization.
• Coordinate with external security vendors and agencies as needed.
• Provide detailed reports and documentation on security measures and incidents.
• Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity roles, with at least 7 years of relevant work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Strong understanding of network security, encryption, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and threat management.
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, DLP, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in a multinational environment.
• Previous experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or the Middle East region.
• Knowledge of cloud security and emerging technologies.
