Job Description Summary:
The Senior Customer Solutions Engineer is a product expert and trusted advisor to our customers. They provide post-sales technical expertise to support the overall deployment of company products – including installation, configuration, customization, and post-implementation servicing. While working primarily in a client-facing capacity, the Senior Customer Solutions Engineer also serves a technical product SME and client advocate with internal teams and stakeholders. As a trusted advisor, the Senior Customer Solutions Engineer works to ensure that Rocket’s customers are leveraging best practices and getting the maximum value from their software solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a member of the CSE Delivery Engineering organization, provide consulting services to help our customers implement Rocket’s Modernization products – including Rocket Modern Experience (formerly Rocket LegaSuite), Rocket API, and Rocket Process Insights;

Demonstrate an understanding of practical application of Rocket’s Modernization products in a variety of highly technical customer environments;

Liaison with Rocket’s internal teams, including Product Management, Development, Support, Sales, and Sales Engineering in support of implementation projects with customers and partners;

Establish credibility with a broad range of client personnel, including highly-experienced developers, system administrators, project managers, business end-users, as well as executives;

Handle objections professionally; answer questions quickly and coherently; and deal with challenges assertively and persuasively;

Collaborate with CSE Project Management to deliver assignments within scope, allotted budget, and committed timelines;

Share product and customer feedback internally with other departments at Rocket to improve our products, maximize customer satisfaction, and strengthen customer relationships and retention;

Domestic and international travel may be required for customer engagements (up to 25%).
Required Qualifications:
-
8+ years of professional working experience in a software, consulting services, or related IT position;
-
5+ years of experience in a customer-facing and/or applied technical role (e.g., Consulting, Development, Technical Support);
-
5+ years of experience with enterprise application development, including technical proficiency with:
-
JavaScript (Backend, Server-side);
-
Web Development Technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS;
-
Writing and consuming REST services.

Experience with the following software tools and technologies considered an asset:
-
Java, XSLT, .NET, Eclipse IDE
-

Experience and/or understanding with deploying secure and scalable applications leveraging tools such as Kubernetes/Docker for orchestration, Kerberos/LDAP for authentication, and SSL/TLS protocols for encrypted communications;
-
Application development experience with IBM i, Mainframe, and/or VT considered an asset;
-
Experience with various database technologies considered an asset (e.g., Oracle, SQL, DB2);
-
Proficiency and/or experience with Windows, Linux, i5/OS;
-
Existing knowledge of Rocket’s Modernization products a plus (Rocket Modern Experience/LegaSuite, Rocket API, Rocket Process Insights).
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field required;
-
Master’s degree desirable.

Annual salary range for this position is between €39,505.00 - €59,257.00 gross before taxes.
Salary range applies only to candidates in Lithuania
Salary offer for the candidate is determined based on the predefined salary ranges for the position and depends on the level of competence and experience of the candidate.
