Senior Customer Quality Engineer – EMEA, Germany (m/f/d)

We are looking for Senior Customer Quality Engineer who will join the Quality Team and help us make the world a better place through innovation, which means we’re taking risks and questioning conventional thinking, and developing new technologies and ways of doing business – leading the way, every single day.

Your day-to-day – We do what others say can’t be done 

• Act as the primary quality representative for external customers, continuously improving customer satisfaction regarding Wolfspeed’s products, processes, and services.
• Manage and drive the timely resolution of customer quality issues by collaborating with Business CQEs, business teams, failure analysis teams, factories, and other support functions.
• Serve as the main interface for customers on technical evaluations of product returns; gather and assess customer failure descriptions while ensuring thoroughness in collaboration with local EMEA Field Application Engineers (FAEs).
• Align with Sales and Business teams to establish strategic directions that support customer quality requirements and objectives.
• Promote the Company’s quality strategy, culture, and initiatives as critical business enablers through proactive customer engagement with our customers.
• Translate broad objectives into detailed action plans to achieve quality and business goals
• This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.

Your Profile – Ready to join the Pack? 

• BS in Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related degree
• Minimum 5 years or relevant experience; 10 years preferred.
• Strong background in quality systems, semiconductor wafer fabrication, and assembly and test operations.
• In-depth understanding of the global automotive industry and related quality requirements and expectations.
• Excellent communication and project management skills; able to engage effectively with external customers and internal stakeholders.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing detailed execution and strategic initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience interacting with senior leadership within complex, global organizations.
• Experience in Power Electronics and/or Silicon Carbide is a plus
