PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Senior Customer Project Manager is responsible for providing quality and timely delivery of inverters and MV stations for complex utility scale projects globally. Duties include providing project management assistance, managing project scope and station integration, delivering inverter solutions to meet specific customer needs, and supporting customer negotiations and installation projects.
PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Defines the scope, schedule and cost basis for complex utility scale project proposals.
- Coordinates with Sales department to communicate customer and client needs, and to negotiate contracts and order changes.
- Manages all aspects of project delivery, including planning, design and MV station integration. Includes interdisciplinary duties with large number of interfaces and substructures.
- Monitors and provides reports on task completion and forecasting of project milestones.
- Provides an effective point of contact for the customer, and measures success from the customer’s perspective.
- Triggers effective and timely PO and invoice activities.
- Focuses on building partner relationships with EPCs and station integrators.
- Identifies and completes process improvement projects.
- Manage of Key Account customers by coordinating internally and externally at all levels or the organization Uses technical expertise in system solutions to support customer needs for information.
- Responsible for tactical/medium term decisions related to the project.
- Budget Responsibility.
- Other duties as may be required or assigned.
REQUIRED TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- A bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Advance Certification in Project Management (PMP) is a plus.
- At least 10 years of project management experience required.
- Experience in renewable energy is preferred.
- Electrical/mechanical background preferred.
OTHER SPECIALIZED SKILLS
- Knowledge of contracts and legal documentation is required.
- Knowledge of renewable energy sector is preferred.
- Ability to manage execution and prioritize multiple complex projects.
- Ability to manage details without losing sight of the bigger picture.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems quickly and effectively.
- Ability to build networks across different cultures, locally and over distance (e.g. USA, LATAM, HQ in Germany).
- Proven leadership skills are required.
- Excellent technical communication skills.
- Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, is required.
- German and/or Spanish language skills are a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint) is strongly preferred.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are required.
- Ability to facilitate effective meetings.
- This position may require 5%-10% periodic domestic and international travel.

- Salary Range: $104,000 - $127,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
