We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Customer Marketing Manager to join the dynamic Safeguard Global marketing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with our existing customers to maximize retention, drive expansion, and enhance client loyalty. You will be responsible for developing and executing targeted marketing strategies that increase the lifetime value of customers, ensuring they have a seamless and positive experience with our brand.
This role requires a strategic and creative thinker as well as a strong executor with experience in multi-channel programs that drive business growth. You are highly collaborative and able to both partner with and influence cross-functional teams while continuously gathering customer insights to refine and improve our approach.
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Retention and Loyalty: Develop and execute customer-centric, multi-channel marketing programs that drive engagement, improve retention, and increase customer lifetime value (CLV). Ability to globalize campaigns a strong plus.

Campaign Development: Create targeted (segmented), personalized marketing campaigns that nurture relationships and promote customer advocacy, including email, content, and digital marketing strategies.

Customer Insights & Feedback: Actively gather and analyze customer feedback through internal tools and collaboration with Sales to inform and optimize marketing efforts.

Collaboration: Work closely with others in the marketing department (Content, Product Marketing, Ops) and cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Support, and Business Insights to understand customer needs and preferences, as well as ensure consistent messaging and a unified client experience.

Customer Journey Optimization: In partnership with VP, Demand Generation, design and implement marketing initiatives that guide customers through the Safeguard Global lifecycle, from interest to acquisition and adoption, to renewal, upsell and advocacy.

Segmentation & Personalization: Utilize customer segmentation and behavior analysis to develop personalized and compelling marketing strategies and communications.

Reporting & Optimization: Track the success of customer marketing initiatives through KPIs, providing reports and recommendations to improve engagement, retention, and expansion efforts.
Required Experience & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience in customer marketing, retention marketing, or a related role, ideally within a B2B, IT or SaaS environment.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful customer retention strategies and marketing campaigns.

Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, lifecycle marketing, and segmentation.

Direct experience in CRM platforms (Salesforce, etc.) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.).

Understanding of marketing automation tools (Pardot, etc.) in order to partner with email team on campaigns and track results.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, derive insights, and adjust strategies.

Experience working cross-functionally with product, sales, and customer success.

Experience with A/B testing and optimization a plus

Experience working with international marketing teams a plus

Project Management: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
