If you're looking for a fantastic opportunity to join a growing startup in a role with massive impact, we would love to meet you!
This position is 100% remote, based anywhere in the United States. No sponsorship or relocation assistance is available.
About the role
Datarails is looking for a Sr. Customer Education Manager to own the strategy, structure, and governance of our customer-facing content ecosystem. This is an individual contributor role for someone who thinks like a systems builder: someone who sees a growing library of decks, guides, templates, and playbooks and immediately starts asking how it should be organized, maintained, and scaled.
You'll be the person who turns scattered content into infrastructure. You'll partner closely with CSMs, Product, Sales, and Product Marketing to make sure every customer-facing asset is accurate, on-brand, easy to find, and built to last.
What You’ll Do
- Own governance of the existing customer enablement content library: audit what exists, retire wha'ts stale, and set standards for what gets added.
- Build repeatable frameworks for how content gets created, reviewed, versioned, and retired.
- Partner with CSMs to identify content gaps in the customer journey and prioritize what to build next.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Product Marketing to keep enablement content aligned with product changes and messaging.
- Define and maintain content standards (structure, tone, branding, accessibility) across the library.
- Create scalable systems (taxonomies, templates, tagging, intake processes) so the library stays organized as it grows.
- Track content usage and effectiveness, and use that data to inform what is working and what needs to change.
Requirements
- 2+ years in customer enablement, content strategy, or a related customer success function.
- Proven experience building or overhauling a content library or knowledge base from the ground up.
- Strong instincts for structure and governance: you don't just create content, you build the system that keeps it useful.
- Comfortable working independently and driving a strategic function without a team underneath you.
- Excellent written communication and an eye for polished, customer-ready material.
- Experience partnering across CS, Product, Sales, and Marketing functions
- Bonus: experience in FP&A, SaaS, or B2B software environments.
Why this role
This isn't a maintenance job. It's a chance to build the infrastructure that shapes how every customer experiences Datarails through content, long after the initial sale. If you're the kind of person who gets energized by systems, structure, and making things easier to find and use at scale, this is the role built for that.

What We Do
Datarails has created a solution that tackles one of the biggest challenges in financial departments: the overflowing amount of data that, up until now, was managed by tons of Excel sheets. All those financial reports, forecasts, expenses, analytics? Datarails takes all this data and integrates it into a one, simple, smart report. Datarails consolidates all cross-organizational data and enables finance professionals to follow it, manage it, and derive insights from analysis. Instead of spending time on manual consolidation, Datarails automates the consolidation process and the creation of financial reports. It’s cloud-based, so nothing gets lost, it’s brilliant, so almost every feature can be added.

Datarails is committed to a positive, diverse, and inclusive culture by hiring for potential, focused on the inclusion of people who have different ways of thinking, different viewpoints, different backgrounds, and different skill sets.
