Team

The Custody & Principal Broking team serves as the backbone of Raisin Bank’s Digital Wealth Management (DWM) division, providing the secure, scalable foundation essential for retail investing. We manage the complex infrastructure, from securities trading mechanics to outsourcing oversight that ensures operational resilience and regulatory compliance. As our retail customer base grows, we are focused on continuous process optimization and high-volume scalability, ensuring our platforms remain reliable, secure, and fully compliant with BaFin standards. We are currently seeking a Senior Operations Manager to join this mission.

Your Responsibilities

  • Strategic Process Optimization: You will drive the evolution of operational workflows to ensure they are scalable and resilient, directly supporting high-volume retail growth.
  • Operational Controls & Oversight: You will define and execute the control framework for daily securities processing, ensuring rigorous validation of all outsourced clearing and settlement activities.
  • Regulatory Compliance: You will partner with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to navigate the regulatory landscape and maintain strict adherence to German financial regulations (including KWG, WpHG, and MaRisk).
  • Operational Resilience: You will proactively investigate, moderate, and resolve complex securities discrepancies and trade breaks in close collaboration with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders.
  • Due Diligence & Auditing: You will actively support due diligence activities and comprehensive audits for both current and prospective outsourcing partners.
  • Strategic Project Contribution: You will provide subject matter expertise for internal and external strategic initiatives, including product launches, platform upgrades, and system migrations.

Your Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a completed banking apprenticeship (Bankkaufmann/-frau) with relevant further qualifications.
  • Experience: 7+ years of operations experience within a custodian bank (Depotbank), clearing firm, or retail broker in the German/European market.
  • Private Customer Expertise: Direct experience with mass-affluent and high-volume retail accounts, managing the complexities of fractional shares, and savings plans (Sparpläne).
  • Technical & Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of Clearstream Banking Frankfurt (CBF), T2S, and European post-trade infrastructure.
  • Risk & Controls: Proven background in establishing and executing internal controls, particularly within the context of MaRisk and outsourced operations.
  • Language Skills: Business fluency in both German and English is required.
