THE ROLE & THE TEAM
The Lounge CRM team oversees the development and maintenance of the CRM solution Braze, utilized company-wide for all commercial communications to our customers across various B2C communication channels.
As a Senior CRM Tech Manager, you will play a key role in contributing to our CRM infrastructure, focusing on the development, maintenance, and enhancement of technical processes.
As part of our dynamic CRM team, you will thrive in a collaborative environment. This setting encourages close interaction with various departments including CRM Commercial, Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Research, fostering a culture of cross-functional synergy and innovation.
Your primary goal is to elevate our technical CRM communication setup. This involves closely aligning with business objectives and leveraging your technical expertise to lead initiatives aimed at delivering personalized messages that deeply resonate with our customers in an automated manner.
This is a hybrid position (40% office time, 60% work from home) and is based in Berlin.

Seamlessly bridge the gap between technical intricacies and business objectives. Foster close relationships with your stakeholders and different product offerings within the group, conveying complex concepts in clear, accessible language to facilitate informed decision-making.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

You bring solid industry experience as a Senior CRM Automation / Tech Manager, proficient in leveraging email, push notifications, in-app, and on-site communications using leading 3rd-party CRM solutions such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot or Zeta Global.

Your expertise lies in automating personalized CRM communications at scale, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in customer engagement.

While not necessarily a developer, you have a foundational understanding of software development principles. Proficiency in at least one coding language such as Liquid, Python, Ruby, Java or JavaScript.

You excel in project management, adept at translating business requirements into technical projects. You’re skilled in breaking down complex tasks enabling effective collaboration within the team.

You possess a relentless drive for improvement, consistently questioning existing infrastructure and processes. You actively propose and implement enhancements that simplify team and stakeholder workflows.

Experience with Databricks, Contentful and/or Cloudinary is a plus.
