We are looking for a new Senior Credit Controller to join our International Finance Team based in the Philippines, supporting with all our credit control activities across a portfolio of businesses in the UK, Ireland and Crown Dependencies region. The ideal candidate will bring experience in business-to-business credit control, with ideas on how to strive for best practice, as well as being a self-starter with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate records / Daily update of aging report (Debtor Report)
- Weekly reconciliation of aging report
- Maintain Client Contact list
- Provide detailed SOA / Sending payment reminder according to procedure
- Following up with internal & external clients by email or phone (as necessary)
- Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries (internal and external)
- Liaising with operational teams
- Effective and timely completion of other activities as directed from time to time
- Build an effective relationship with all parts of the business, delivering a well-respected and efficient service for the Credit Operations process
- Assist with driving process optimization across the Credit Control Function
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of prior experience with Credit Control / Accounts Receivable process, with a focus on Business to Business collections
- Strong Communication skills both written and verbal (Fluent in English)
- Experience in preparing reports for Senior Management Level Audience
- Detailed oriented with organisational and analytical skills
- Proactively takes ownership of work with a drive for results
- Ability to work independently
- Strong MS Office & Computer Skills
- Understanding of multi-currency, working in a global environment
- Strong Reconciliation skills
