Objectives 

As a senior creative team, you will be expected to: 

  • Consistent at delivering ideas, including platform/ big ideas. 

  • Fast and reliable, can work under pressure when needed. 

  • Understands tone of voice, look, + feel, and can define a ‘brand world’. 

  • Vocal can give opinions and recommendations on what they think is right. 

  • Takes direction and feedback well, reworking ideas or creating something entirely new.  

  • Has an understanding of the agency process and helps other departments during the journey of a project.   

  • Strong knowledge of the production process and your role in it.  

  • Actively seeks problems in our partner's business or proactively extends campaigns.  

  • Able to time manage multiple projects and prioritise their workflow.  

  • Presents ideas in a way that captivates, from deck to verbal presentation. 

 

Skills 

  • Able to understand, relate, empathise, write, and visualise to an audience. 

  • Able to flex tone of voice and visual direction and tailor it to different brands and projects. 

  • Has many reference points for writing styles and many images for art direction.  

  • Able to finesse writing and art direction in executions, but also in presentation decks.  

  • Can present the concept and the rationale behind it convincingly to clients. 

  • Could you take direction and develop more copy/art direction when asked? 

 

Day-to-day responsibilities 

  • Develop creative ideas, copywriting and art directing to answer briefs. 

  • Could you create decks and presentations to sell your ideas? 

  • Time management across projects being worked on. 

  • Be a good role model for junior staff and help mentor them. 

  • Be a good representative for Havas London. 

 

Qualifications, Distinguishing Characteristics and Special Requirements 

  • 7-10 years of experience as a creative copywriter and art director. 

  • Able to generate ideas and present them in a way to inspire. 

  • Familiarity with social media and a love of culture. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
