About the Job

Creative Publishing is Netflix’s creative leadership for games, maintaining a consistently high bar across our portfolio. As a Senior Creative Designer, you will work across disciplines to support our developers in building the highest quality games. You will be a point of contact for creative guidance and feedback throughout each game’s development cycle, validating a cohesive experience for players and advocating for the essence of IP expression.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide actionable feedback for design, art, audio, and narrative teams to ensure we are held to the highest standard of gamemaking

  • Capture, communicate, and align creative priorities, and balance risks with opportunities to help guide our games to creative excellence

  • Help define and champion player identity for a wide variety of genres and audiences

  • Work with developers to ensure that Netflix and external IP is represented correctly within game adaptations, including tone and creative considerationsof

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience developing games in a design or creative leadership role

  • Experience working with distributed or external teams

  • Ability to articulate critical and meaningful feedback to influence direction without relying on positional authority

  • Excellent knowledge of game lifecycle from concept through live service and an understanding of how to tailor creative input to each game’s unique requirements

  • A record of leading complex cross-functional projects with successful delivery of quality in design, art, audio, narrative, and additional creative fields

  • Experience with Live Service and retention-oriented design

  • Development and execution of internal creative tools and processes

  • Licensed IP game experience a plus

  • Experience with social, F2P, mobile, web, console, handheld a plus

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $210,000.00 - $300,000.00. This compensation range will vary based on location.

Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
