Senior Covenants Analyst - Reorg
Reorg’s lawyers deliver trusted real-time legal insights in the debt markets. Our Global Covenants team is looking for an experienced high yield and/or leveraged finance lawyer in New York (with the option to work fully remote). Key Responsibilities
- Work with a team of experienced lawyers to provide actionable insights on high yield documentation and debt structures in the primary and secondary markets.
- Prioritize day to day legal work on HY and leveraged loans based on business needs and clients’ requests.
- Provide real-time legal analysis on topical situations, and market alerts on covenant developments.
- Expand, maintain, and harness the power of Reorg’s industry-leading bond databases to provide our subscribers with an edge through data-driven reports.
- Collaborate closely with other Reorg experts in the Americas and other regions to produce industry leading covenant analysis, generate data-backed trendlines, and develop Reorg’s products.
- Proactively generate new content for Reorg’s clients through articles, market updates, webinars, and podcasts.
- Actively cultivate relationships with Reorg’s clients and industry contacts.
- Represent Reorg at industry events and conferences, and in dealings with the press.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working in debt finance, with a focus on high yield bonds and/or leveraged finance.
- Commercially aware and can analyze high yield and leveraged finance documents to provide actionable insights in a timely manner.
- Able to multitask and work both independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment with people from varied professional backgrounds.
- Confident communicator, who writes in a clear and concise manner for the intended audience.
- Qualified to practice New York law.

As a result, compensation may vary within and across similar roles and positions. Please note that the salary range information below is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed below may not reflect that breadth.
The total compensation (base salary + bonus) range estimate for this position is $240,000-270,000.
The actual compensation will be at Reorg’s sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors.
