AstraZeneca is a global, science-led, patient-focused biopharmaceutical company that focuses on the discovery, development, and commercialization of prescription medicines for some of the world’s most serious diseases. But we’re more than one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies. We’re valued partners who are trusted to do the right thing. We believe it’s not just about getting the best solution, it’s also about doing it the right way – ethics, compliance, and transparency are front and center of everything we do.

We’re a legal function that values flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to stretch and accept new challenges. We focus on professional and personal development and place a premium on providing lawyers with broad exposure and the opportunity to counsel diverse stakeholders on legal risks.

As a member of the BioPharma & Corporate Legal group, you’ll be part of a team of transaction lawyers, focused on delivering the most important projects for our Business Development teams. The role will see you personally handling complex legal matters, interpreting and drafting contracts, and taking a global perspective and your work may involve overseas travel. You’ll foster a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaborative working with your counterparts across the Legal function.

  • Understanding of manufacturing and supply chains

  • Experience of working in a global legal environment

Office Working Requirements

When we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines. In-person working gives us the platform we need to connect, work at pace and challenge perceptions. That’s why we work, on average, a minimum of three days per week from the office. But that doesn’t mean we’re not flexible. We balance the expectation of being in the office while respecting individual flexibility. Join us in our unique and ambitious world.
