Essential duties:

  • Analyzing data about company’s operational costs
  • Develop and analyzing cost standards
  • Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
  • Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
  • Complete external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
  • Inventory management interaction with material consumption.
  • Collect cost information and maintain database
  • Prepare cost forecast for monthly, quarterly, or annual operating schedules
  • Maintain records, general ledger accounts and assist month – end and year -end close process.
  • Perform, review and analyze a broad range of complex accounting activities in order to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile Balance Sheet Accounts
  • Conduct regular ledger maintenance
  • Analyze expenses to evaluate cost opportunities
  • Evaluate current workflow to recommend changes to increase accuracy and efficiencies
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
  • Assist with External Financial Audit and follow up audit recommendations
  • Identify efficiencies and improvements in current accounting practices
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting

  • Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst or similar role
  • Ideally 5+ years of relevant work experience in accounting firms – audit firm.
  • Experience on managing Financial Audits
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, including GAAP/IFRS and SOX compliance.
  • Cost Accounting experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; experience with ERP implementation is a plus.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
