The Role
Valeo Health is expanding its Corporate Wellness vertical into Saudi Arabia, and this is the senior commercial hire that leads it. You will own the KSA Corporate Wellness pipeline — selling Valeo’s integrated managed health programmes to HR Directors, CHROs and CFOs at Saudi corporates, government-linked entities and large private sector employers.
This is not a generic wellness sale. It is a financial conversation with HR and finance leaders about the cost of preventable disease in their workforce, and what Valeo does about it.
Saudi Arabia is a uniquely high-opportunity market for this. Adult diabetes prevalence exceeds 19% nationally and runs higher in certain workforce segments, Vision 2030 health sector reform is increasing employer accountability for workforce health outcomes, and CCHI wellness frameworks are changing how HR and finance leaders think about health investment. This role capitalises on all three tailwinds at once.
What You Will Do
a. Market development and prospecting
• Build the KSA Corporate Wellness pipeline from the ground up across banking, oil and gas and its supply chain, telecoms, and government-linked entities
• Apply a structured methodology at every stage: up-front contract in the first meeting, layered pain-funnel discovery, budget qualification before any proposal
• Develop referral relationships with KSA-based employee benefits consultants and HR advisory firms
• Target HR Director / VP HR, CHRO and CFO — with the budget holder in the room by the second meeting
• Coordinate with the existing Valeo KSA team on account mapping and market coverage to avoid conflicts and maximise reach
b. Deal development and closing
• Present Valeo’s ROI model pre-populated with KSA and CCHI benchmark data at every commercial meeting
• Build all proposals, presentations and commercial documentation
• Structure defined-metric pilots for large accounts not ready for full deployment, with employer-branded reporting
• Navigate the KSA procurement and vendor registration process end to end, including any CCHI or Ministry of Health requirements applicable to wellness services
• Lead negotiation through to signature and first invoice
c. Regulatory and market navigation
• Stay current on CCHI developments affecting employer wellness frameworks and insurer product approval
• Understand and apply PDPL (Personal Data Protection Law) obligations in every programme data agreement
• Position Valeo’s programmes within Vision 2030 and regulatory wellness incentive frameworks
• Sell in a manner aligned to Saudi business norms — relationship-first, reference-heavy, never cold
d. Reporting and pipeline discipline
• Log every call, meeting, proposal and outcome in Pipedrive within 24 hours
• Weekly remote 1:1 with the VP International Sales & B2B Partnerships — top three deals, pipeline coverage, blockers, next week’s plan
• Monthly in-person review in Riyadh or Dubai
• No deal sits without a next action date
Performance Expectations
This role is measured on commercial activity, deal quality and closed business. Activity expectations below are the floor, not the ambition.
• Consistent weekly outbound activity: new qualified accounts added, in-person meetings, video meetings and proposals issued
• Maintained pipeline coverage against your quarterly commercial plan
• Pilot-to-contract conversion rate tracked and reviewed quarterly
• Full CRM hygiene within 24 hours, with zero stale deals
• Specific quarterly and annual commercial targets are set out in the internal commercial plan and confirmed in your offer letter.
What Success Looks Like at 12 Months
• A live KSA Corporate Wellness pipeline built from a standing start, with qualified accounts at every stage
• Multiple Saudi employer accounts live and running Valeo programmes with engagement targets met
• At least one signed programme with a government-linked entity or major Saudi corporate
• A referenceable KSA employer case study, in Arabic, with engagement and outcome data
• Established referral relationships with Saudi HR advisory and employee benefits firms
• A documented KSA corporate sales playbook covering procurement, vendor registration and stakeholder mapping
Who You Are — Requirements
a. Non-negotiable
- Arabic native speaker: All client-facing communication, proposals and presentations are delivered in Arabic. English is the internal working language.
- 5+ years B2B sales in Saudi Arabia: Specifically the Saudi market. Wider GCC experience alone is insufficient — KSA corporate procurement culture is distinct.
- Established KSA corporate HR and finance network: Direct existing access to HR Directors and CFOs at Saudi corporates or government-linked entities. The network is the job.
- Consultative selling experience: Structured methodology and comfort with multi-stakeholder enterprise cycles of 6–16 weeks. Sandler preferred; MEDDPICC, SPIN or Challenger equally acceptable.
- Financial and ROI selling ability: You must be able to present and defend a cost-benefit case to a CFO with confidence. This is not a product demonstration role.
- Executive presence: You will represent Valeo in front of Saudi executive committees and government-linked boards. We expect a polished, credible, professional client-facing standard throughout.
- Riyadh-based: Resident in Riyadh or willing to relocate, with significant in-Kingdom travel.
- CRM discipline: Logging all activity within 24 hours is a condition of the role. Pipedrive training is provided; the attitude to discipline is the prerequisite.
b. Strongly preferred
• Experience selling healthcare, employee benefits, corporate health insurance, occupational health or HR technology in KSA
• Existing relationships with Saudi-based HR advisory firms or employee benefits consultants
• Working knowledge of CCHI regulation and Vision 2030 health sector programmes
• Prior experience selling to government-linked entities or large industrial supply chains in the Kingdom
• CRM proficiency (Pipedrive preferred)
Compensation and Benefits
• Competitive SAR-denominated base salary, benchmarked to the Saudi market and to your experience
• Uncapped commission on all B2B new business and renewals
• Quarterly performance bonus for above-plan growth
• Medical insurance, GOSI and annual leave per Saudi labour law and Valeo policy
• Commission rates and quarterly bonus mechanics are set out in Valeo’s B2B commission plan and shared with shortlisted candidates at offer stage.
Skills Required

- Consultative selling experience with structured methodologies and 6–16 week enterprise sales cycles
- Ability to present and defend financial and ROI-based cost-benefit cases to CFOs
- Polished executive presence for Saudi executive committees and government-linked boards
- Based in Riyadh or willing to relocate, with significant in-Kingdom travel
- Ability to log all sales activity in the CRM within 24 hours
- Experience selling healthcare, employee benefits, corporate health insurance, occupational health, or HR technology in KSA
- Existing relationships with Saudi HR advisory firms or employee benefits consultants
- Working knowledge of CCHI regulation and Vision 2030 health-sector programs
- Experience selling to government-linked entities or large industrial supply chains in Saudi Arabia
- CRM proficiency, preferably Pipedrive
