Belvedere Trading is expanding its Talent team, and we are seeking a Senior Corporate Recruiter with expertise in identifying and engaging top-tier talent in options market-making across equity index and commodity derivatives trading. This role is critical to ensuring our trading desks are staffed with exceptional individuals who possess the expertise, strategic mindset, and adaptability required to excel in the fast-paced and competitive proprietary trading landscape. 


As a Senior Corporate Recruiter, you will collaborate closely with Trading leadership and stakeholders to build and execute tailored recruitment strategies. You’ll specialize in sourcing and engaging highly sought-after talent, navigating complexities such as non-competes, garden leave, visa processing, and long-term pipeline development. Your ability to understand trading strategies, industry trends, and the unique demands of our desks will set you apart as a trusted partner in driving Belvedere’s success. 

What you'll do

  • Partner with Trading stakeholders to understand desk-specific needs and develop candidate pipelines that align with Belvedere’s growth goals 
  • Source and engage hard-to-find options market-making talent across equity index and commodity derivatives trading, leveraging industry expertise and innovative sourcing techniques. 
  • Proactively manage and navigate complex hiring scenarios, including non-compete agreements, garden leave considerations, visa sponsorship processes, and compliance with industry regulations. 
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines for critical trading roles, ensuring readiness to meet future desk staffing needs. 
  • Assess candidates for both technical expertise and core value alignment, including an understanding of trading strategies, risk management, and market dynamics. 
  • Stay current on industry trends such as cryptocurrency markets, event-driven trading, and emerging opportunities in equity and commodity derivatives to inform recruitment strategies. 
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing Belvedere at industry events and building strong relationships with external networks and trading communities. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide a positive candidate experience, reflecting Belvedere’s core values.
  • Continuously improve hiring processes to ensure efficiency, scalability, and alignment with the firm’s strategic priorities. 

What you'll need

  • 5+ years proven experience providing full cycle recruiting processes for proprietary trading roles, in a corporate, or agency setting. 
  • Deep understanding of trading strategies, market structure, and risk management principles, with the ability to assess candidate alignment with trading desk needs. 
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing and engaging hard-to-find talent in highly competitive markets. 
  • Experience navigating complex hiring challenges, including non-compete agreements, garden leave requirements, and visa sponsorship processes. 
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a consultative approach to partnering with senior leaders and trading desks. 
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficiency with recruitment tools, ATS platforms, and advanced sourcing techniques. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
