Sime Industrial is expanding its Corporate Finance team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating new opportunities, supporting transactions, and shaping the company’s long term growth strategy both in Australia as well as internationally.
This is a role that will be perfect for someone with foundational financial modelling and presentation exposure and you should be a naturally curious, adaptable, and hands‑on person.
You will be supported by senior team members (all with Big4 Corporate Finance / M&A background) and have the opportunity to broaden your experience across multiple markets and countries.
Further, you will:
- Provide sound commercial analysis and recommendations to identify and develop growth and cost reduction strategies
- Evaluate and communicate financial and operational performance trends, historical and forecast, to support decision making
- Support the full deal cycle for acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, and new project developments
- Build and maintain financial models with guidance from experienced team members
- Prepare investment papers, presentations, and insights for senior leadership
- Assist in coordinating due diligence across internal teams and external advisors
- Provide budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities support, and assist monthly, quarterly and annual business performance reviews
- Perform internal and external performance benchmarking
- Influence a continuous improvement of culture and change management
- Provide the Senior Leadership Team with commentary, analysis and proactive improvements to enable the business to make more informed decisions and prompt profitability

About You
A successful teammate will have experience in:
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role (professional services experience will be advantageous)
- Commercially focused finance professional with strong analytical and modelling skills
- Experienced in evaluating and communicating financial and operational performance to support decision‑making
- Exposure to the full deal lifecycle, including investments, acquisitions and due diligence
- Confident in preparing investment papers and executive‑level presentations
- Collaborative, proactive and driven to continuously improve performance and profitability
