What you'll own
Lead the drafting and negotiation of customer-facing commercial agreements supporting Global Payments’ Genius Point of Sale business across North America.
Partner with business leaders, internal stakeholders, and legal colleagues to provide practical legal guidance on customer contracts, regulatory matters, and pre-litigation disputes.
Identify and evaluate legal and business risks while developing solutions that support business objectives and customer needs.
Manage complex negotiations involving partner agreements, referral agreements, master services agreements, statements of work, non-disclosure agreements, and related commercial contracts.
Support and lead legal department initiatives that improve efficiency, scalability, and service delivery across the business.
What you'll bring
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
3–6 years of relevant legal experience, preferably including both law firm and in-house counsel experience.
Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer-facing commercial agreements.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and explain complex legal concepts clearly.
Strong business judgment, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while working independently and collaboratively.
