About the role
The Senior Corporate Communications & PR Specialist is responsible for enhancing the company’s public image, managing media relations and driving effective communication strategies. This role involves developing strong relationships with journalists, coordinating events, overseeing CSR initiatives, and ensuring consistency in corporate messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Media & Stakeholder Relations:
- Establish and maintain relationships with key journalists and media outlets.
- Respond promptly and professionally to media inquiries.
- Communicate regularly with associations and stakeholders to strengthen partnerships.
- Monitor media coverage to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Align external communication efforts with corporate messaging, strategy, and industry trends.
Content & Event Management:
- Create high-quality press releases and articles reflecting company values and industry trends.
- Plan and execute events within budget and timelines.
- Ensure all written content is error-free and aligns with brand guidelines.
- Support events and speakers by coordinating booth presence and maximizing impact.
- Evaluate event success and content effectiveness using feedback and metrics.
CSR & Awards Strategy:
- Develop and propose CSR initiatives aligned with company values.
- Monitor and apply for relevant industry awards to enhance corporate visibility.
- Collaborate with departments to gather information for award submissions.
- Promote CSR and award achievements internally and externally.
Track and report the impact of CSR and award-related initiatives
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Experience in event management and stakeholder engagement.
- Knowledge of CSR initiatives and industry award applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
